I used to make a lot of cookie trays for work. It was an easier way for me to participate than cards or white elephant exchanges. Plus it was a great way to have people get familiar with my cooking so if I participated in a bake sale, everyone would know what they were getting and more likely to buy than something they’d never seen before. Current environment in the workplace and schools do not allow for open trays of homemade goodies, so I have resorted to clear cellophane bags tightly closed with a sticker showing the name of the confection along with it’s ingredients. I even looked into getting a certified kitchen but you have to keep the ingredients separated from household and meticulous records kept on where said ingredients were purchased and in what batches they were present. Currently I do not have the will power for all of that, maybe in the future I’ll revisit that idea.
