Genealogy is a hobby I dabbled in as a teenager, but that was before Internet and some family resistance to finding other relatives. Now I am have some certificates through Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), some experience helping others work on their own trees, building relationships with extended family, and building a library of reference materials. My own tree is quite large but am finding corrections all over the place. It’s a good reminder that when looking at other people’s tree’s to only look at them as a starting point and never reference as fact.
